ABOUT THE EXHIBITION
The first ever retrospective exhibition of the eminent sculptor KS Radhakrishnan will be held at Centre for Contemporary Art, Bikaner House, from 19 Nov-14 Dec 2023. Curated by renowned art historian Prof R. Siva Kumar, this exhibition will showcase five decades of the sculptor’s works, for the first time.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
KS Radhakrishnan studied art at Kala Bhavana, Santiniketan and is renowned for infusing remarkable lightness and energy into his bronze sculptures. He has created some of India’s largest bronze artworks. His public sculptures have been installed in France and in many major cities of India. Radhakrishnan’s work has been exhibited widely, including solo shows at prestigious venues like Centre des Bords de Marne, Paris; the National Gallery of Modern Art; Lalit Kala Akademi; Birla Academy of Art and Culture; and Emami Art Gallery. He has also participated in international events like Salon Internationale de la Sculpture Contemporaine, Paris; Triennale India; Beijing Biennale; and the India Art Fair.
